About Our Ministry
Gateway Church was formed after two years of weekly prayer meetings in a private
home. The goal was to seek the Lord for direction in establishing a place where the
Holy Spirit was welcome and He be given the freedom to bring people to salvation,
restoration, healing and deliverance; a place where people would see, know and
experience the reality and true nature of God. We are a people dedicated to loving
God and loving people, who seek to lay down our lives for others in practical ways, to
render assistance to those in need, and reach out to those who are homebound.
We began meeting Monday through Friday in Parkland in October of 2003. Since our
beginning, we have been blessed with increase in the presence and moving of His
Spirit, personal growth and restoration, a greater apprehension of God’s incredible
love of humanity, and His willingness to equip us to be effective servants. People
have been saved, healed and restored. We have experienced signs, wonders and
miracles. We are now establishing a permanent home that God has blessed us with.
Worship is a vital part of our nightly services. It has been our experience that this
time ushers in the wonderful presence of God, prepares our hearts to receive, and
gives direction to our lives. The Word is taught in truth and often confronts us with
areas of our lives where we need change. The mercy, power and love of Jesus
always helps us through times when the going is rough and we have found Him to be
faithful to always help us in time of need. The core of this ministry is people who seek
to know and serve Him no matter what the cost. He has become our life, our source,
and our strength.
Come join us as we put down our roots in Tacoma and re dig the wells of revival in
Tacoma. We are now in the building used by God in the late 1960's where both my
wife and I were filled with the Holy Spirit in 1972. This is where Peoples church was in
its early days. Let's do it again!!
