| Hebrews 10:36 declares "For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: For yet a little while and that which is com- ing will come and will not tarry." This wonderful formation of Christ is going on within your heart. We are complete in Him, yet, His forming within us is continually being revealed. What a paradox! All that Christ has for you has already been placed within your spirit in "seed" form. And He is removing the layers to reveal His glory. We cooperate with Him as we yield and present our bodies to Him as a living sacrifice. Have you ever complained to the Lord, "When will this all be done in my life? Can't You hurry up?" Well, the Word expressly tells us we will need endurance if we want to receive the finished forming of our lives. Isn't that the promise? We are beginning to understand that the forming of Christ is not instantaneous. What happens if I choose not to stay in the place of endurance? Well, the promise is coming and He wants you to receive it! The promise is coming! Verse 37 states, "that which is coming will come and will not tarry." What is coming towards you? Your vision! The vision that God has expressly given to you, that which He is writing upon your heart, is directly tied to the forming of Christ within you. And this promise, this vision is coming. It will come and it will not tarry! This is your challenge: When your vision comes to you, will you recognize it and receive it? Only if you are walking with endurance! Without endurance, you will grow weary and complain, just like the nation of Israel in the wilderness. And when your op- porutnity comes to you, you may simply reject it as being too hard, or not the right timing. This is not God's plan! Our eyes may be darkened by unbelief rather than be illuminated by faith. Let's keep our eyes single! Let's keep our hearts pure! Cast not away your confidence! Let that living Hope be alive within you! Have eyes to see when your vision is coming. And receive it! Seize it! Latch onto it! Remember '08 is the Year for you to step into your vision. |
